We answer your phone, so we hear your customers' names, numbers and addresses. Here is exactly how we protect them.
Signed NDA
We sign a confidentiality agreement with your company before your line goes live.
Your data is yours
Customer names, phone numbers, addresses and recordings belong to your company.
Never shared or sold
We have no right to share your customer list or phone numbers with anyone.
Deleted within 30 days
Cancel, and we delete everything we hold for you, then confirm it in writing.
- We sign an NDA
Before your line goes live, we sign a written confidentiality agreement (NDA) with your company. It covers your customer list, call recordings, transcripts, job tickets, prices and anything else we see through your line.
The NDA stays in force after you cancel, for as long as we hold any of your data.
- Your data belongs to you
Everything that comes through your line — callers' names, phone numbers, addresses, what they said, recordings, transcripts and tickets — is your company's property. We hold it only to answer your calls.
- What we will never do
- Sell, rent or share your customer list or your customers' phone numbers
- Call, text or market to your customers
- Give your data to another company, including your competitors
- Use your calls to serve or train AI for another company
- Who can see it
Only the Ringstead team members who set up and check your line, and each of them is bound by confidentiality.
To answer a call, it has to pass through the services that run it: the voice platform, the phone network and the AI model. They get only what they need to process the call, under confidentiality terms as strict as ours. Data is encrypted in transit.
- When you leave
On request we give you a full export of your data. Then we delete it within 30 days and confirm the deletion in writing. You can also ask us to delete any recording or record at any time.
- If something goes wrong
If anyone ever gets access to your data without permission, we tell you right away and notify the people affected and the privacy commissioner as the law requires.
- The law we follow
Ringstead is a corporation registered in Alberta. We follow Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and, for callers in Ontario and elsewhere in Canada, the federal PIPEDA.
- This website
What you enter in the sign-up form — name, company, phone and email — is sent over an encrypted connection straight to our team, is not stored on this website, and is used only to contact you about Ringstead. Ask us and we delete it. Page statistics are anonymous and use no cookies.
